Diana López (1968) es una artista visual venezolana y gestora cultural. Desarrolló su estilo artístico en la década de los noventa, centrándose en la participación y colaboración con otros creadores en la producción de sus piezas. En 1994, se convirtió en la primera mujer en recibir el Premio de Arte Eugenio Mendoza. En 1996 participó en el Programa Internacional MoMa Ps1 en Nueva York. Su trabajo incluye fotografía, video, performance e instalaciones. López, ha trabajado por más dos décadas en instituciones culturales dedicadas al desarrollo local y la participación comunitaria. Cuando fue directora de Cultura Chacao, en Caracas implementó estrategias para revitalizar comunidades urbanas incluyendo programas de arte público, festivales y la construcción de una potente infraestructura : el Centro Cultural Chacao y la Biblioteca de Los Palos Grandes. Her work includes photography, video, performance and installations. López, has worked over two decades in cultural institutions devoted to local development and community participation. When she was the director of Cultura Chacao in Caracas she implemented strategies to revitalize urban communities including public art programs, street festivals and the construction of a mighty infraestructure: Centro Cultural Chacao and the Library of Los Palos Grandes.
